RJ network interface PIN needle touch resistance and 4 major elements of reliability:
4. Operating voltage
When the applied voltage reaches a certain threshold, the film layer of the touch element will be broken down, and the touch resistance will drop rapidly. But because the thermal effect accelerates the chemical reaction in the area near the film, it has a certain corrective effect on the film. So the resistance appears nonlinear. In the vicinity of the threshold voltage, a slight fluctuation of the voltage drop will cause the current to change within a range of twenty times or several tens of times. The touch resistance changes greatly. If you don’t understand this situation, you will make mistakes when testing and using the touch.
